1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Pinch of salt
3 oz. box dry strawberry Jello

Bake pie shell. Fill pie shell with strawberries. Let syrup cool. Add to strawberries in pie shell and chill in refrigerator. Top with whipped cream if desired.
