1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Beat egg then add sugar and butter. Slowly add other ingredients and beat until smooth. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in 9x13 pan.
