1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. hot water
1/2 c. butter
Add vanilla if needed

Mix sugar, cornstarch and cocoa. Add water and butter. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Can be kept warm in a double boiler. Use warm over ice cream.
