3 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
1 can milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Put in top of double boiler. Mix well and cook over boiling water until thickened. Stir quite often while cooking. Put over vanilla ice cream and top with nuts.
