STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. 7 up
1 1/2 pint fresh strawberries
4 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. strawberry Jello
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and 7 up. Cook until mixture is thick. Add Jello. (Food coloring may be added, if desired.) Place strawberries in baked pie shell. Pour mixture over strawberries and let cool. Serve with whipped topping.
