KOLACKY 
1 c. butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. mace
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. thick blackberry jam
1 c. thick mixed-fruit jam

Cream butter with cream cheese and vanilla until smooth. Combine flour, mace, and salt. Add to cream cheese mixture and stir until well blended. Form dough into a ball and chill for about 2 hours.

Roll dough to about 1/8-inch thick. Cut out cookies to 2-inches with a round cookie cutter. With 1-inch round cookie cutter, cut out the center of half of the cookies, leaving rings.

Spread jam very thinly on top of the whole cookies and then place a ring-shaped cookie on top of each one. Fill the center hole with more jam.

Place cookies on baking sheets and bake for 7-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
