FRUIT CRISP 
4 c. sliced, peeled apples or pears
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. butter, softened

Grease a square pan, 8"x8"x2". Place fruit in pan. Combine remaining ingredients together; cut in butter, sprinkle over the fruit slices evenly. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes.
