ROASTED POTATO FANS 
10 med. potatoes
12 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. marjoram leaves
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper

Peel potatoes. With sharp knife, cut each potato crosswise into 1/4 inch slices, being careful to cut each slice only 3/4 of the way through the potato.

In a 13 x 9 inch baking pan in 400 degree oven, melt butter. Arrange potatoes, cut side up in pan; brush with melted butter; sprinkle with salt, basil, marjoram and pepper.

Bake 1 hour or until potatoes are golden and slices fan out, occasionally brushing potatoes with butter in pan. Can be reheated in microwave oven. 10 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
