HUCKLEBERRY MUSKEG 
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
Milk as needed
2 c. huckleberries
Sugar as needed
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Cook berries, enough sugar to cover and cornstarch until thick. Set aside. Preheat oven at 400 degrees. In 9 x 13 pan melt the butter. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and stir in enough milk to make mixture of pancake consistency. Pour over the butter in pan. Stir only slightly to push the butter into the batter. Ladle Huckleberry mixture over batter. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 15 minutes.
