1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk, undiluted 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin 3/4 c. boiling water 1/2 c. sugar 2-3 tbsp. lemon juice Pour milk into mixing bowl. Place bowl of milk and beaters of electric mixer in the freeze. Chill thoroughly. Dissolve lemon gelatin in the boiling water; add sugar and lemon juice and stir to dissolve sugar. Whip milk with mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold together milk and gelatin. Add yellow food coloring if needed. Pour into serving dish. Chill. |
