BEAN PICKER BEANS 
4 strips bacon, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1 qt. fresh, washed, snapped green beans

In a large frying pan, fry bacon until brown. Remove bacon with slotted spoon. Add onion and pepper to drippings and cook until clear. Add the beans and stir until they turn a bright green. Salt and pepper to taste and add cooked bacon. Cover tightly and cook slowly over low heat for about 1/2 hour or until beans are tender.
