Rolled roast or leg of lamb, French's mustard, flour, salt and pepper. Rub the roast with salt, then spread mustard over it until coated. Pat with white flour until it forms a white crust with the mustard. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and place in uncovered roasting pan. Potatoes, onions and mushrooms can also be placed in roaster. They may be covered with a strip of bacon.
Place in hot oven, 450 degrees, until browned, then cook according to standard roasting procedures. Put about 1 cup water in the bottom of the roaster, add more from time to time if needed. You can baste roast and vegetables with liquid. (Good recipe for roast beef also.)
