CREOLE FUDGE 
1/4 lb. large marshmallows
1/4 lb. butter
1/3 c. chopped candied cherries
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Combine marshmallows and butter in heavy saucepan (large). Cook and stir over low heat until marshmallows melt and mixture is smooth. Mix sugar and milk in separate saucepan and heat to simmering.

Stir constantly 5 minutes. Add to marshmallow mixture and mix well. Add chocolate, beat until thick and creamy. Stir in pecans, raisins and cherries. Pour into a buttered 8-inch square pan. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares.
