1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. flavoring (optional)
1/2 tsp. food color

Put liquids in pan; add dry, mix well. Cook over medium heat until it balls up. Knead on floured surface until smooth. Keeps forever in plastic bag in refrigerator.
