AMY'S SAUSAGE AND RED POTATOES | |
This recipe is definitely a must have at all of our cook outs, and a major request for pot lucks!! 1 (5 lb.) bag red potatoes 1 link smoked beef sausage (I use Hillshire Farms) pats of butter, cut into pats SEASONING: seasoned salt, for sprinkling (Lawry's) garlic powder, for sprinkling onion powder, for sprinkling Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut potatoes into 1-inch pieces, do not peel. Boil potatoes. While potatoes are boiling slice sausage into 1/2-inch slices. When potatoes are done, place in a casserole dish and mix sausage in, put dabs of butter on top of mixture. Sprinkle generously with seasoned salt, garlic and onion powder. Mix again and sprinkle all seasonings on top one more time and mix. Place in oven at 375°F for about 20 minutes. Perfect for cook outs, or just as a meal on its own. Submitted by: Amy Stutz |
