APPLE CRUNCH 
4 c. sliced pared apples
3/4 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. firm butter

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place apples in ungreased square baking dish, 8 x 8 x 2 inches, spread evenly. Mix Bisquick, nuts, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly sprinkle over apples. Bake until brown about 35 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired.
