CHICKEN COUNTRY CAPTAIN 
14 pieces chicken
2 lg. onions, chopped
2 lg. green peppers, chopped
2 lg. cloves garlic, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1 lg. and 1 sm. can tomatoes
1 c. chicken broth
1 tbsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. thyme
Lots of parsley
2 tbsp. currants
1/2 lb. crisp bacon

Brown chicken pieces. Make sauce with the remaining ingredients and cook for 1/2 hour before adding to chicken, then bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
