LEMON MACE CRISPS 
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. mace
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. salad oil
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and mace. Combine remaining ingredients, beating with fork until thick. Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet.

For Sugar Glaze, combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon mace and 1 teaspoon nutmeg. Lightly butter bottom of water glass, dip into sugar mixture and press cookies flat. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
