“QUICK PIZZA DOUGH” IS IN:

QUICK PIZZA DOUGH 
1 pkg. Quick Rise dry yeast (Red Star)
1 cup lukewarm water
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. honey
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder

Mix yeast in water in glass bowl. Add other ingredients. Mix well by hand. Let sit in bowl for 5 to 10 minutes, covered by towel. Flatten on greased pan. Add your own topping.

Bake at 450°F. for about 12 minutes.

Note: Grease hands for nonstick mixing.

This is one of my favorite recipes for pizza dough! I've altered it slightly by using olive oil instead of vegetable oil and adding 1/4 tsp. salt. It gives it just enough extra taste to combat the blandness without being super overpowering. Also, I like to toss some cornmeal into my pie pans after I grease them and before I bake it to give the crust a pizza parlor finish.

I agree, this recipe is great! I added Italian seasoning as recommended by previous posters so blandness was not a problem. We also brushed butter along the edges of the crust before popping it into the oven.

I just made it today, and it was good. Added Italian spices to the dough and some salt, and was so good. Smelled like a pizzeria in my kitchen, used a pizza stone and cornmeal and it made the crust nice and crunchy.
