WALNUT OATMEAL BURGERS 
2-3 c. walnut pieces
2 c. rolled oats
3-4 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. skim milk
1 lg. onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
Oil to brown patties
3 c. bouillon or stock

Grind walnuts in processor and combine with remaining ingredients except oil and stock. Form into patties and brown in a lightly oiled skillet. Reduce heat, add stock, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve as you would a hamburger or crumble and use as you would use cooked ground beef.

This recipe makes 8-10 good sized patties or 12-15 large meatballs.
