NEW YORK CHEESE CAKE 
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 stick softened butter

Mix the above ingredients for the crust. Press into a buttered 9 inch spring form pan. Refrigerate.

Mix the following ingredients until smooth: 1 tsp. vanilla 2 lb. cream cheese, well softened 1 c. sugar

Pour into the spring form pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool for 20 minutes in a draft free area.

Mix together the following: 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3 tbsp. sugar

Spread over the cheesecake. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes more. Cool 1 hour. Best served after 24 hours.
