1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 cube of butter, melted
3 to 5 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 egg
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Chopped nuts

Combine cake mix and butter to form crumb mixture. Set aside 2/3 cup. Form crust with crumb mixture in 9 x 12 inch greased baking dish. Add layer of apple to crumb crust. In small mixing bowl combine egg and sour cream. Pour egg mixture over apples. Mix remaining crumb mixture with brown sugar and spices. Sprinkle on top of egg mixture. Add chopped nuts to spice topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
