I LOVE this recipe! Have been making these since I was a kid (I'm pretty sure it was a recipe from Grammy) Now I'm a mom and making these for my kids (5 1/2 and 2) I use creamy PB not chunky and we play w/ the ingredients and add dried cranberries, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, or chocolate chips. I also double the recipe and press into an 8x8 pan so we have bars and not balls. Can't seem to make enough as it disappears as quickly as I make it!

This is surprisingly delicious! I also added unsweetened coconut flakes which put these over the edge. Highly recommended!!

So happy to find this recipe! I made these YEARS ago for my kids. I modified it because I had brown sugar and no honey. Used 1/3 cup brown sugar instead of 1/2 cup honey. Also added mini chocolate chips and dried orange cranberries. Sprinkled with enough warm water to stick together, them pressed into balls and placed on parchment paper covered cookie sheet in fridge. So yummy! And protein packed!
