HAMBURGER BUNS 
4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. milk
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt

Stir together 2 cups flour and yeast. Combine and heat milk, water, oil, sugar and salt until very warm (120 to 130 degrees). Add liquid all at once to flour mixture, beat until smooth, about 3 minutes on medium speed of electric mixer. Add enough additional flour to make a soft dough.

Mix well and let rest 10 minutes. Roll out on well floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with 3 inch round cutter. Place rounds on greased baking sheets, let rise in warm place for 30 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 12 to 15 buns.
