1 c. chocolate chips 1/2 c. butterscotch pieces 2 c. chow mein noodles 12 maraschino cherries Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. In a medium saucepan, melt chocolate and butterscotch pieces over low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in chow mein noodles. Drop batter by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheet, placing them in a V pattern on cookie sheet. In a small bowl, cut cherries in halves, then place a cherry half in the center of each cookie with the cut side down. Chill in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours or until firm. Makes 24 pieces. |
