ARTHUR TREACHER'S FISH | |
Fish, cut in lg. serving pieces, any kind Lemon, sliced Flour Cooking oil 3 c. pancake mix 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 3 c. club soda or beer Place cut up fish in bowl. Slice lemon over top. Cover tightly. Refrigerate 2-3 hours; drain well. Dip each in flour. Let dry 5 minutes. Heat 3 inch oil in pan (425 degrees). Combine basil, pepper, garlic powder, pancake mix and club soda or beer. Fry in oil until fluffy and golden. |
