COCA COLA RIBS | |
1 slab babyback ribs 1 (12 oz.) can Coca Cola 3 tbsp. honey 3 tbsp. soy sauce 3 tbsp. Mirin (Japanese cooking wine) or sherry salt and pepper, to taste Cut ribs into individual pieces. Boil ribs for 15 to 20 minutes (spooning out the foam/scum makes the ribs taste better). Put the drained ribs into a large pot (large wok works great). Add all ingredients into the pot with ribs and bring to a boil. Keep turning the ribs in the pot while the sauce mixture reduces to a sticky consistency of honey. Reduce heat until the sauce is just about all evaporated. Serve the ribs hot. Pour any leftover sauce onto the ribs. Submitted by: Kathy Jenkins |
