MOCHA LOGS 
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
2 tbsp. instant coffee crystals
1/4 tsp. baking powder
Semi sweet chocolate, melted
Finely chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg and vanilla. Stir together flour, coffee, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt; slowly blend into creamed mixture. Using star plate, force through cookie press in 3" strips on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool. Dip one end of each cookie into chocolate, then coat with nuts.

I don't have a cookie press anymore. Can I do something else to shape these? A friend made them and they were delicious. I really want to make them!
