BARBECUE BAKED BEANS 
2 med. onions, chopped
1 lg. clove garlic, minced
10 slices bacon, fried and cut into thirds
4 (1 lb. cans) baked beans, undrained
1/4 c. molasses
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Fry bacon until almost crisp. Remove bacon and drain all dripping except 2 tablespoons. Saute onion and garlic until golden, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in beans, molasses, and catsup and bacon. In a small bowl toss together cheese, crumbs and butter. Spoon over beans. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until top is brown and bubbly.
