OLD FASHIONED STIRRED CUSTARD | |
2 eggs 1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 tbsp. flour 3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar and flour and beat until thick. Gradually stir in 1 cup milk. Mix well and add remaining 2 cups milk. Pour in double boiler and cook, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes or until thick. Stir in vanilla and refrigerate. |
