STROMBOLI SANDWICH 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. butter
6 French rolls
6 slices mozzarella cheese

In 1 1/2 quart glass casserole combine beef and onion. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Spoon off drippings. Stir in next 6 ingredients. Cook, covered, 5 to 6 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Combine garlic powder and butter. heat 30 seconds. Stir to blend. Pour melted butter evenly over inside of top half of each roll. Divide meat mixture evenly and spread on bottom halves of each roll. Top with 1 slice of mozzarella, place tops on buns, and wrap each in a napkin. Cook as follows; rotating one quarter turn halfway through cooking time: 30 to 45 seconds for 1 sandwich; 1 1/2 to 2 minutes for 3 sandwiches and 3 to 4 minutes for 6 sandwiches. Serve warm. 6 servings.
