SAUTEED OKRA | |
1/2 lb. pork tenderloin 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 lb. young fresh okra 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. white vinegar 2 tbsp. fish sauce or soy sauce 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper Dice pork tenderloin into small pieces. Wash okra and set aside. In a frying pan, fry pork; remove and set aside. Saute garlic, onion, and okra. Stir in water and vinegar; season with fish sauce or soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Add reserved pork. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until tender. Serve hot or chilled. |
