BAKED FISH CASSEROLE 
1 lb. fish fillets (Walleye or lake perch)
1 med. green peppers
1 sm. chopped onion
Salt and pepper to taste
2 c. buttered bread crumbs

BASIC WHITE SAUCE:

3 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. milk

Drain fish well on paper towels. Grease baking dish (8 inch square). Lay fish in bottom. Sprinkle with chopped green pepper and onion, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour white sauce over fish. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees, 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Wonderful, even to non fish lovers.

This is my 2nd time making this!! I love it!! It was even really good as a warmed up leftover!! This will be my go to recipe in the winter for a wonderful baked fish!! I did not add the green pepper, I really enjoyed the butter flavor... yum
