1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 lb. wide noodles
2 cans tomato sauce
1/2 lb. sliced cheese
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
Bay leaf (size of nickel)
1/4 tsp. sugar

Combine seasoning and bay leaf in tomato sauce. Boil 15 minutes. Add 1/4 teaspoon sugar. Boil noodles about 7 minutes. Drain. Cook hamburger in skillet until lightly brown and drain. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Layer as you wish in casserole dish and brown in oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 8 or more.
