NO ICING CUPCAKES 
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix ingredients together and reserve.

CUPCAKES:

Sift into a large bowl: 2 c. sugar 1/3 c. cocoa 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt

Add: 2/3 c. oil 2 tsp. vanilla

Mix thoroughly. Put foil baking cups into cupcake tins and fill 2/3 full of mixture. Drop a teaspoon of filling mixture into each cup of cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

This cupcake recipe is especially good for lunch boxes since the cupcakes have no frosting to stick on the wrapping. However there is a treat inside!!!
