PECAN STICKY BUNS
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. pecans halves
1 loaf frozen bread dough (thawed and at room temperature)

In a heavy oven proof skillet (10 inch) bring to a boil butter, corn syrup, and brown sugar over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Cool slightly and arrange pecan halves (flat side up) on the bottom of the skillet.

On lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 16 x 12 inch rectangle. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Roll up tightly from long side - pinch to form a seal. Cut into 1 inch slices. Arrange 1/2 inch apart.

Cover, let rise 30 minutes or until doubled. Bake in the center of the oven at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 16.
