1/2 c. butter
3 oz. very sharp Cheddar cheese (grated)
1 c. flour
1/8 c. red pepper
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter and cheese together. Add remaining ingredients. Shape into 1 1/2 inch roll. Wrap in aluminum foil and chill well. Slice in 1/8 inch slices. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 6 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
