CARAMEL CHEWS 
36 (10 oz.) vanilla caramels
1 c. corn flakes
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped light walnuts
3 tbsp. light cream

Melt caramels and cream in top of double boiler, stirring occasionally. Toss together cereals, coconut and nuts. Pour caramel mixture over, with buttered mixing spoon, mix thoroughly. Drop from teaspoon onto buttered waxed paper. Makes about 2 dozen.
