BROCCOLI SALAD 
1 bunch broccoli, florets only
1 white onion, chopped fine
Shredded cheddar cheese to taste
3/4 c. bacon
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
1/2 c. raisins; optional

Combine broccoli, onions, cheese, and bacon; set aside. Combine mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar; pour over broccoli mixture. Toss and refrigerate for about 4 hours (not overnight). Toss several times to blend flavors.
