1 env. (2 oz.) whipped topping mix, Dream Whip
1 c. dry milk powder
1/4 c. sugar or 6-8 pkgs. Equal
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Ice water
1 1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin

Put first 4 ingredients and 1 1/2 cups ice water in a large bowl of mixer. Stir to blend then beat at high speed 3-4 minutes or until soft peaks form. Soften gelatin in 2 tablespoons cold water and dissolve over hot water. Very slowly, add to first mixture beating constantly. Chill 1 hour, then beat again until desired stiffness; chill. Makes about 5 cups.
