VEGETABLE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. can green beans, drained 1 sm. can tomatoes, drained 1 1/3 c. celery strips, 1 1/2 inch long 1 c. thinly sliced onion 1 c. carrot strips, 1 1/2 inch long 1/2 green pepper, cut in strips 2 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter Mix all ingredients except butter and place in 2 quart greased casserole. Dot with butter. Cover and bake in 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. Makes 5 to 6 servings. This is a colorful combination of vegetables. Bake the shorter time for crisp-tender vegetables - longer for well done. |
