TACO SUPREME | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. dry minced onion 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. "French's" taco mix 3 c. shredded medium cheddar cheese 3 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 pkg. (one dozen) corn tortillas 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 3/4 c. milk 1 tomato, chopped 1/2 head lettuce, chopped Brown hamburger, with salt and pepper and dry onion. Remove from heat. Add taco seasoning mix and 2 cups shredded cheese to hamburger. Set aside. Lay out tortillas and spread each with softened cream cheese. Put 2 heaping tablespoons of hamburger mixture on each tortilla and then roll up. Grease 9 x 13 inch pan and place rolled up tortillas seam side down in pan. Next mix tomato sauce, mushroom soup and milk together. Pour over rolled tortillas. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and top with lettuce, then tomatoes and then remaining cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted. Serves 6 to 8 people. |
