BAKED ZITI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion
1 (32 oz) jar spaghetti sauce
1/4-1/2 c. water
2 tsp. garlic powder
Salt, pepper and Italian seasoning to taste
8 oz. Ziti (pasta)
2 c. Mozzarella cheese

Brown ground beef and diced onion; drain. Add spaghetti sauce and water until desired consistency. Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning to taste. Bring sauce to a simmer. Cook ziti for 7-8 minutes and drain.

Mix approximately 1/2 cup ziti with approximately 1/4 cup of sauce and cover bottom of pan. Layer 1 1/2 cups cheese over ziti and sauce mixture. Add remaining ziti and sauce mix. Bake covered for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Add remaining cheese and bake an additional 10 minutes, uncovered.
