TEA CAKES 
2 eggs
2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
3/4 butter (or 1/2 cup vegetable oil)
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. pure vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Sifted flour, 4 or 5 times

Combine all ingredients except flour. Pour into a pan of flour and work as for biscuits.

Roll on floured wax paper and cut out.

Bake on greased pans at 350°F for about 10 - 12 minutes.

Makes a large quantity. Cook, store in tight jar or can.
