TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
5 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Flavoring

Cream butter, gradually add sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in dry ingredients. Roll out on a lightly floured board to 1/4 inch thickness cut into desired shapes. May be rolled and stored in freezer and sliced if desired. Bake until very lightly browned do not over bake. Bake at 400 degrees approximately 8 minutes.
