DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (2 c.)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In small saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add 6 ounces chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until morsels melt and mixture is smooth. Transfer to larger bowl. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in remaining cup of chocolate chips and nuts. Don't let chocolate melt. Spread into greased 9 inch baking dish, square. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut in 2 1/4 inch squares. Makes 16. Can be doubled and baked in 13 x 9 inch pan.
