GARLIC BREAD 
1 loaf French or Italian bread
1/4 lb. soft butter
1 or 2 cloves of garlic, pressed or cut up finely

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cut slices in bread, but not all the way through. Mix garlic and butter. Spread between slices of bread. Wrap in foil. Bake until bread is warm and butter has melted through bread.
