CHERRY DROP COOKIES 
1 1/3 pkg. cherry cake mix
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 1/2 tbsp. water
2 1/2 eggs
7 drops red food coloring
12 c. nuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Blend cake mix, oil, water, eggs and food coloring, if desired. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Top each cookie with a quarter of Maraschino cherry.

Bake at 350 degrees 10 - 12 minutes.
