BISCUITS 
2 c. self-rising flour
1 stick butter (I prefer butter)
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. melted butter

Blend flour and 1 stick butter with pastry blender. Mix in buttermilk. Knead 8-10 times. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.

Bake in 425°F oven for 10 minutes. Brush with melted butter and brown.

Makes 10-12 biscuits.
