YOGURT DROP BISCUITS 
2 c. flour, self rising
2 tbsp. sugar
Pinch of baking soda
1/2 c. all vegetable shortening
2 tbsp. yogurt (approx. 4 oz.)
1 c. water
Melted butter

Combine flour, sugar, and baking soda. Stir to mix. Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Combine yogurt and water; pour over flour mixture. Stir just till mixed well. Do not over mix. Drop by tablespoonfuls 1/2 inch apart onto lightly greased baking sheet. Lightly brush tops of biscuits with melted butter. Bake in 425 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned. (12 to 15 biscuits.)

This yogurt drop biscuit recipe is pretty good.. And a great base if you want to make cheddar biscuits or apple cinnamon, which I did. I used this recipe because I didn't have any milk. Will be using it again!
